You can use this treatment paste to help prolong the life of your Cutting Board, Charcuterie Board, Serving Tray and other wooden pieces that come into contact with food. Made from a food grade mineral oil and beeswax it is colorless and odorless, so it will not discolor or taint the wood that it is applied to. It is important to keep your board conditioned throughout the life of the board. These boards left untreated will dry out and can crack, check, or warp if they are not cared for properly.

The application is very easy and simple. A little goes a long way with this. Take a microfiber or soft cotton cloth and apply it in a circular motion. Once applied let the paste sit for about 15 - 20 minute until it hazes over, similar to waxing your card. Once it has hazed over then take a clean cloth and buff the wax off. Your board is now properly conditioned. How this works is the oil is slowly absorbed by the wood leaving the wax on top to seal it in and keep water and other contaminants out. How often this is needed depends on the amount of use the board has. Generally once a month is a good rule of thumb.
